Fulfilling a Critical National Need
For years, Nepal's only dedicated transplant facility has been overwhelmed, performing around 200 transplants annually while thousands of patients remain on the waitlist. At the same time, private hospitals often charge exorbitant fees—sometimes as high as NRs 20 lakhs for a kidney transplant—placing life-saving care out of reach for many families.
SAN Hospital was established to bridge this critical gap. By offering significantly lower costs than private alternatives, we are ensuring that life-saving transplant services not only continue but expand, fostering a self-sufficient and patient-focused healthcare ecosystem in Nepal.
