SAN Objectives

Swastha Aviyan Nepal (SAN) is driven by a commitment to healthcare equity and a vision to make life-saving treatments accessible to all. As a non-profit-sharing organization, our core objectives guide every initiative we undertake, from operating our medical facilities to advocating on a national level.

Our primary objectives are:

  • Comprehensive Healthcare Operations: To provide a wide range of health-related services, including the operation of specialized hospitals focusing on critical care and organ transplantation.

  • Accessible Care for the Vulnerable: To deliver low-cost or completely free health services for poor, deprived, and helpless individuals, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent life-saving care.

  • Organ Donation Advocacy: To conduct targeted public awareness campaigns regarding organ donation and transplantation in accordance with prevailing laws, aiming to prevent organ failure and encourage life-saving donations.

  • Post-Transplant Empowerment: To support individuals who are living a healthy life after an organ transplant in becoming self-reliant. We coordinate with the government and other agencies to provide skill development programs, enabling these individuals to earn a living, support their families, and contribute to the nation.

  • Research & Development: To conduct continuous study and research work within the health sector to innovate care, improve medical outcomes, and develop self-sufficient transplant ecosystems.

  • Strategic Partnerships: To conduct and expand health services through collaborative partnerships with local and foreign health organizations, healthcare provider associations, the government, and global donors.

  • Facility Management & Community Outreach: To manage healthcare facilities, including health science colleges, nurse training centers, and other health-related bodies (subject to relevant approvals). We also aim to directly serve the community by providing pharmacy services, organizing health camps, and offering home care for senior citizens and recovering patients.
